West Fort Institute of Paramedical Sciences (WFIPS), Thrissur  is affiliated to the University of Calicut. The courses are conducted in a spacious campus with all modern amenities like well equipped class rooms, Library, Auditorium, Recreational facilities, AV Aid facilities etc. Qualified Postgraduate and Undergraduate faculty members conduct the classes and modern technologies of teaching and learning are adopted in imparting knowledge to nursing students to prepare them to serve the demanding and needy society in the next complex world. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to the students in various departments of the college. The objective of the college is to teach and train students for carrying out Lab investigations accurately. They are well trained in the Pathology , Microbiology and Biochemistry investigations, which helps the patient to became treated well. The institute is provided with well equipped Biochemistry, Microbiology and Pathology labs and the students are well trained in these laboratories. Facilities :-
