Vutkoor Laxmaiah College of Pharmacy, Raichur was established in 1966.

The college was started with a Diploma course in pharmacy.

The College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and is approved by State Government, P.C.I and A.I.C.T.E.

The college has got spacious building with eight lecture halls, 14 well-equipped laboratories.

The management is also running a hospital for providing an affordable treatment for the poor and needy section of the society.

For the convenience of student community transport facility is provided by their own vehicles, and also separate hostel facilities are provided for boys and girls.

The college is located in Raichur city, which is a district head quarters with about three-lakh population.
