Vivekananda College of Nursing (VCN), Tiruchengode was established in 1993.

The college is approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) Delhi, Government of India and is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. 

The college is among the known institutes of nursing in the state. B. Sc Nursing and M. Sc Nursing courses are offered in the college at undergraduate and postgraduate level, respectively.
