Vishwa Bharti Womens College of Education, Jammu is a branch of a large educational complex, known as Vishwa Bharti Women's Welfare Institution established in 1951.

The College is recognized by J&K State Govt. and is affiliated to University of Kashmir.

The College of Education was established in 1980.

The College offers Bachelor of Education course for those who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.
