Vinayaka Mission's College of Nursing (VMCN), Karaikal was established in 2004.

The management encourages the faculty members to pursue research work by providing the adequate infrastructure and sponsoring them to attend conferences, workshops and symposia.

The students are encouraged to do a research project in the Final Year.
