Vikramaditya Group of Institutions, Bhopal was popularly known as Vikramaditya College, Bhopal was established in 2000 and managed by Deepti Prabha Shiksha Avam Jan Kalyan Samiti, Bhopal.
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.
The college is affiliated with Barkatullah University, Bhopal and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.
It is also recognized and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi to offers Medical Science courses.
The aim of the college is to meet the challenges of building the futuristic India up, vocational oriented educational training in the field of science, Management & IT To enable India's younger generation to compete successfully in the scientific and industrial pursuits on the international pursuits on the international horizon it has become imperative to provide them a springboard .
It is a co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Bhopal played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under Barkatullah University, Bhopal.
The college offers two years intermediate courses in Science streams with various specializations under Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, Bhopal.
The college offers three years undergraduate courses and two years of postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management streams with various specializations under Barkatullah University, Bhopal. It also offers Postgraduate Diploma courses.
The college also offers Medical science, Teachers Education, and ITI courses as well.
University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by Barkatullah University, Bhopal and various other examinations are held in the college premises.

- The college has a large playground with well-equipment for different sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Hockey, Badminton and so on
- A medical facility has been available in the college for the benefit of the students
- State Government and Central Government offers a number of scholarships to the meritorious students and the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC
- The institution has provided ICT facilities like computers, projectors, audio-visual gadgets, scanners and printers to the departments and also other aids and a huge number of availability of books for effective delivery of curriculum and for inculcating the knowledge of the subject
- A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
- To sharpen the skill of students and their personality development, various curricular and extra-curricular activities are the regular features of the institution
- The college also provides NCC training to its students. The NCC cadets attend different camps and earn pride for themselves and for the college
- The college Unit NSS Wing performs different type of social services within and outside of the area
- The college also organizes workshops, seminars, and conferences for improving teaching skills and methodology
- The college consists Women Cell to help female students. This cell helps and guides girls to sort out from their personal problem and avoid them from any harassment
