Vidyasagar Primary Teachers’ Training Institute(VPTTI), Sutahata is governed by Indian Centre for Advancement of Research and Education, Haldia (ICARE), which was set up in 1995. The Institute is affiliated to West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The institute is located at an exclusive pollution free campus near Subarna Jayanti Bhavan at Amlat and is very closed to Mecheda-Tamluk-Haldia state High way.
