Vidyasagar Primary Teachers’ Training Institute(VPTTI), Sutahata is governed by Indian Centre for Advancement of Research and Education, Haldia (ICARE), which was set up in 1995.

Vidyasagar Primary Teachers Training Institute was founded by Sahid Matangini Social Welfare Trust with the sole aim to serve the people by imparting quality education. This Institute is situated at Dhamait, Amdan, Purba Medinipur, West Bengal.
