Vidya Vikas Pratishthan Institute of Engineering & Technology (VVPIET), Solapur was established in 2009.

The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, recognized by DTE Maharashtra and affiliated to Solapur University.
