Veenavadini Teachers Training Institute, Bahodapur (Dist. Gwalior) was established in 1993 and managed by Veena Vadini Samaj Kalyan Vikas Samiti, Gwalior which was established in 1986.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with Jiwaji University, Gwalior and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is recognized and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal & Govt. of Madhya Pradesh (M.P.) to offer B.Ed., M.Ed. & D.Ed. courses.

It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade (CGPA Score 2.86 on a 4 Point Scale in 1st Cycle) on 10th July 2014.

The main aim of the college is determined to provide the quality education to the future teachers. With the correct mix of technology and human touch, the college empowers the aspiring teachers to propagate education through the rungs of the society so that they serve the nation while making a satisfying career for themselves.

It is a co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the rural part of Gwalior played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

This trust registered in 1986 and started school in the residential house on its own land in Bhind Walo Ka Bada, Jiwaji Ganj, Gwalior (M.P.). Since existence, many milestones have been set in the field of teaching-learning programmes in the year 1993-94.

In this year (1993-94), pre-primary teacher training course (D.E.C.Ed.) was started and gradually open higher courses like D.El.Ed, B.Ed. and M.Ed.

The college also received the many achievements awards in the field of Teacher Training at Jiwaji University, Gwalior.

The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) courses for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled to a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college offers two years Master of Education (M.Ed.) course for those who have completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the graduation level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college also offers two years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or Elementary Teacher Training (E.T.T.) course for those who have completed their intermediate with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized college/university under the affiliating university State Council of Educational Research Training (SCERT), Bhopal.

Students here are admitted who completed their intermediate from recognized college/university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the intermediate level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by Jiwaji University, Gwalior, and various other examinations are held in the college premises.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Veenavadini Teachers Training Institute, Bahodapur  in its various departments.
