Veda Institute of Information Technology (VEDA-IIT), Hyderabad was established in 2001.

Its Affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.

VEDA IIT (VLSI Engineering and Design Automation) is an industry driven state-of-the-art training institute of excellence in various fields such as VLSI and Embedded systems. Since its inception in 1997, 150 batches have passed out and around a total of 3500 students have graduated. The curriculum of all the courses at VEDA, is set in such a manner that the student has more hands on experience in his chosen field. VEDA is associated with a consortium of VLSI Design Houses for their participation in designing and structuring the curricula and also for their active involvement in imparting Industry Oriented Training on contemporary VLSI Design.

VEDA conducts an MS Program in VLSI Engineering, which is a collaborative program of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University of Hyderabad and Kakinada, and a consortium of VLSI Design Houses. Similarly, we have several Diploma courses in fields like Embedded systems, Physical design, IC layout, Analog design and Logic design. VEDA IIT is managed by directors who have a long standing association with many universities and the semiconductor industry.

VEDA is expanding everyday in terms of knowledge, due to experienced faculty. The students are also greatly enriched as they work on live projects. This level of knowledge definitely shows in the placements. VEDA proudly proclaims that all our students are now successful professionals in various parts of the world!
