Vashishta Degree & PG College, Kamareddy was established in 2002. While establishing this college there is no any private college in this Kamareddy Division. This is the 2nd Degree College in the Kamareddy Division.

The main aim of the college is to give good education to rural students & others. Firstly the college is started by 200 students and day by day developing as "Blooming bud" now  the strength is increasing day by day.

It is affiliated to Kakatiya University, Warangal.
