Vaageswari Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (VIPS), Karimnagar was established in 2004.

The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and is recognized by Government of Andhra Pradesh and approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Vaageswari College of Pharmacy offers B. Pharm (4 years), M.Pharm (2 years) in four specializations (pharmaceutics, pharmacology, industrial pharmacy and pharmaceutical analysis & quality assurance) and Pharm. D courses.

The college has been managed by Sree Vaageswari Educational Society, Karimnagar.

The objectives of the college are to provide the quality education in the field of pharmacy profession, to promote highest quality professional pharmacy education at all levels, to produce competent pharmacists, with entrepreneurship and innovative skills and to establish continuing professional development (CPD) programs in the institution for practicing professionals.
