V.V. Vanniaperumal College (VVVC) for Women, Virudhunagar was established in 1962.
Its Affiliated To: Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.
The institution has grown by leaps and bounds into one of the reputed women's colleges in Tamilnadu.
The college became an autonomous institution in 2009 and it was reaccredited with 'A' grade in 2010 by NAAC.
The Mission of the VVVC is to impart liberal education committed to quality and excellence. Its quest is too mould learners into responsible citizens instilling in them leadership qualities, personal integrity, life oriented skills and service mindedness.
The founding vision of the college is to impart quality education to rural womenfolk in and around Virudhunagar and to empower them Knowledge and leadership.
