Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya (UBKV), West Bengal was established in 2001.

The college UBKV was established by West Bengal Act XX of 2000, is contributing to the overall agricultural development of the state, West Bengal by way of developing quality professionals in the niches of Agriculture & Allied Sciences.

UBKV has efficiently dealt and is dealing with the local problems of agricultural production system in different agro-climatic conditions of northern part of West Bengal through research and development.

The college UBKV head-quarter is situated at Pundibari, a rural block in the district of Cooch Behar which is 15 km away from the district head-quarters.
