About Umiya Arts and Commerce College for Girls
Shree Meghmani Parivar and Shree Bhailalbhai A. Patel (Detrojwala) Umiya Arts and Commerce College for Girls, Ahmedabad was established in 1998 under the management of Shree Umiya K.V.C. Education Trust.
It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
The college is affiliated to Gujarat University, Ahmedabad and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.64 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 1st May 2015.
The management aims at making it one of the leading institutions of the region, to provide state-of-the-art teaching facilities for learning beyond standard subjects of Arts and Commerce, to provide career oriented guidance through professional courses, lectures and distance education and to spread awareness about social, economic, environmental, current issues facing the society and encouraging them for active participation.
The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Arts & Commerce stream under Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. It also offers various Add-on courses.
