Udupi College of Nursing (UCN), Udupi was established in 2004.

The College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and recognised by KNC & INC. 

under the aegis of Shree Krishna Educational Trust with a clear mandate to provide quality education and help students attain their goals.

The college believes that Nursing is a profession which is based on scientific advancement and changing needs of the society. The course aims at developing a student's ideals, ethics and conscience to create a nurse of outstanding qualities who is well aware of the human dimensions of this noble profession.

The graduates of Udupi College of Nursing will be prepared to function as a generalist with beginning competencies in specialized areas of nursing, teaching, research and have the knowledge, ability and attitude necessary to qualify for further nursing education and research.

The graduates will be prepared to function in a variety of settings and is able to plan and provide safe and competent care through nursing process approach in all types of clinical and community settings.
