The Neotia University (TNU), Kolkata is one of the noble initiatives by the AmbujaNeotia Group that is headquartered in Kolkata. This dynamic endeavor of AmbujaNeotia Group is led by the Chancellor Mr. Harshavanrdhan Neotia. The Neotia University was established vide the West Bengal State Government University Act XXIII of 2014 and enlisted & recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India.

The Neotia University (TNU) is primarily reaching out to the brighest of the interior students in rural areas with multidisciplinary courses with specalization to ensure that students have the required skill and knowledge that will ensure their leadership for jobs & self employment.

TNU offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctorate Programmes in Science & Technology, Maritime Studies, Agriculture & Allied Sciences, Hospitality Administration and Culinary Arts, Pharmaceutical Science, Health Sciences, Humanities Management & Social Sciences and Legal Studies. The Multidisciplinary courses with specializations are designed to ensure that students have the required subject & practical skills & knowledge that will ensure their leadership for jobs & self-employment.

TNU aims to attain holistic development of its students by ensuring that the education provided is contemporary and experiential through partnership with industries and other academic institutes.

TNU's responses to the pandemic has been swift. The University has taken series of actions to ensure a safe and hygienic campus. Regular Teaching-Learning, Practical Lab Sessions, Projects, Semester wise exam, regular Internal Exam and Evaluation, Group Discussion have completely moved to Online Mode Using Microsoft Teams. Virtual classrooms means not only the deployment of technological tools, but also a new Pedagogy.
