About Tika Ram P.G. Girls College
Tika Ram P.G. Girls College, Sonipat was established in 1992. The college was established under the management of Tika Ram Educational Society.
It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
The college is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.
It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "C++" Grade - (in 1st Cycle) on 21st March 2003.
It is the manifestation of the dream seen by the legendary saintly figure Ch. Tika Ram. During the span of last twenty years since its establishment in 1992, the college has made remarkable progress in different spheres & has traveled a cherishable journey.
The main aim of the college is determined to provide the quality education to the future teachers. With the correct mix of technology and human touch, the college empowers the aspiring teachers to propagate education through the rungs of the society so that they serve the nation while making a satisfying career for themselves.
At present, the college runs UG and PG courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce including BCA, BBA under Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.
To cater the career oriented and life skills of the students, the college also runs career oriented courses in English Speaking, Cooking, Beautician, Fashion Designing, Computer Application and Stitching Centre etc. Apart from these courses the college also offers various types of Add-On courses.

- A medical facility has been available in the college for the benefit of the students
- State Government and Central Government offers a number of scholarships to the meritorious students and the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC
- A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
- College have training and placement cell which provides immense support for arranging training and placement opportunities for our students
- To sharpen the skill of students and their personality development, various curricular and extra-curricular activities are the regular features of the institution.
- The college also organizes workshops, seminars, and conferences for improving teaching skills and methodology.
- The college also provides NCC training to its students. The NCC cadets attend different camps and earn pride for themselves and for the college
- The college Unit NSS Wing performs different type of social services within and outside of the area
- The college consists Women Cell to help female students. This cell helps and guides girls to sort out from their personal problem and avoid them from any harassment
