Theni Kammavar Sangam College of Education was established in 2005, Theni is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, Bangalore.

Earlier it was affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai. Now it is affiliated to Tamilnadu Teachers Education University. The college campus is spread over 6 acres of total land, their institute has adequate infrastructure facilities.

Theni Kammavar Sangam was established in the year 1972 by the service minded philanthropists of Kammavar Community with the aim of providing good value based education to the poor and rural area students. With the aim of developing rural area students into better teachers, the trust started Theni Kammavar Sangam College of Education(TKSCOE) in 2005. The trust runs other institutions viz., Matriculation higher secondary school, CBSE School, Teacher Training Institute, Engineering college, Polytechnic, ITI, Catering Institute and Arts and Science college. TKSCOE strives to produce socially responsible, creative and productive teachers who can contribute to the development of the children and make them succeed in the global society.

Well experienced faculties are available to fulfill the needs of their students attaining higher education in their institution. Their staff members are endowed with dedication and rich activity experience.

Theni Kammavar Sangam College of Education aims at improving the teaching competency, developing orginality, intellectual excellence and creativity of their students coming from rural and urban areas, thereby contributing to the social and economic upliftment of downtrodden people.  They believe that a society can come up only through education.
