Thellar College of Education, Tiruvannamalai was established under Arulmighu Sri Muthalamman Educational Trust.

The College offers Bachelor of Education course for those who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.
