Theivanai Ammal College for Women (TACW), villupuram was established in 1989. Its affiliated to Thiruvalluvar Universiry.

It is managed by E. S. Educational Charities. The college is honoured by NAAC with A grade accreditation and UGC conferment of Autonomy.
