THDC Institute of Hydro Power Engineering and Technology, Tehri was established in 2011.

In the institute, students can learn in a borderless and barrier-free environment. All the class rooms with LCDs, laboratories, instrument rooms, and library are well established.
The teaching of all theory courses in combination of power Point and traditional presentations. Internet facility is available to all the students’ and faculties.
