TET Teacher Training Institute (for Women), Namakkal is established and managed under Takwa Educational Trust.

The Institute is a self financed and non minority Institution.

The Institute offers two years Diploma in Elementary Teacher Education (D.T.Ed.) for women in order to uplift the women education and produce women teachers to develop a sense of discipline, dedication and devotion among the students who will be the future architects of the country.

The institution is recognized by the NCTE (National council for teacher education), SRC (Southern Regional Committee), Bangalore with an intake of 50 Students.

The Institute has received the faculty approval from the DTERT (Directorate of teacher education Research & Training-Chennai).
