Teachers Training College (T.T.C.), Mirza was established in 31st May, 1992. It is one of the premier institution established by the founder principal Late Bhabani Kanta Choudhury.
The college is affiliated to Gauhati University, Guwahati and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
The purpose of establish college (T.T.C) to make one of the best ideal college of the South-Kamrup and also he hoped that the college will be solved all the problems and deficiencies of the teachers of the Locality.
The people of the whole South-Kamrup like Professor of the colleges, teachers of the H.S School, Businessmen of the locality, Educationist of the area and the general people of the Mirza, gather in Dakhin Kamrup College premises on 31st May 1992 under the presidentship of Educationist, Ex Principal B.K. Choudhury, to discuss about the establishment of T.T. College of Mirza. Finally the college was established in 1992 under Gauhati University, Guwahati.
The institute offers one year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed there graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.
Students here are admitted who completed there graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks in eligibility for admission.
