Swami Vivekananda College of Nursing, Dharmapuri was established in 2007 under Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Educational and Charitable Trust.

It is approved by Government of Tamil Nadu and recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai and affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai.

The trust was started in Dharmapuri with the object of making all around development of the individual.
