About Swami Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya Sagar
Swami Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya, Sironja (Dist. Sagar) was established in 2008 and managed by Prakhar Pragya Shiksha Prasar Avam Samaj Kalyan Samiti (R), which was established in July 1994.
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.
The college is affiliated with Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar. It is also recognized & approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi to offer B.Ed. & M.Ed. courses.
The college aim is committed to helping all students with a desire to excel in their pursuit of the acquisition of new skills and specialized knowledge necessary to emerge as the super achiever of the 21st century to make the nation great.
It is a co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the rural part of Sagar played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under the Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar.
The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.
Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled to a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
The college also offers two years Master of Education (M.Ed.) course for those who have completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with the minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.
Students here are admitted who completed their graduation in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the graduation level. University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar and various other examinations are held in the college premises.
