About Swami Ramanand Teerth Rural Medical College
Swami Ramanand Teerth Rural Medical College (SRTRMC), Ambajogai is the first rural medical college in Asia.
It is named after the great freedom fighter of Marathwada Mukti Sangram, Swami Ramnanad Teerth who fought with the Nizam of Hyderabad for the separation of Marathwada from Hyderabad.
The medical college is affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and is functioning under the Director of Medical Education and Research Department, Mumbai.
