Sullamussalam Science College, Areacode is a first grade aided college affiliated to the University of Calicut.

The college was established in 1995.

The College is run by Muslim Educational Association, an educational organisation formed in 1994.

Jamiyyathul Mujahideen Areacode, an organisation formed in Areacodde in 1944 is the parent body of MEA.

The college was founded with the ojective of imparting quality education to backward communities in rural areas, primarily in the district Malappuram.

The college rose to new heights when it was sanctioned a postgraduate course in Computer Science in 2000.

In 2003, the college started the MA Course in English, and in 2004 MSc Physics and MSc Mathematics, all in the unaided sector.
