Sudharsan College of Arts and Science, Perumanadu was established in 2006.

The College is approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to Bharathidasan University.

The college is managed under Sudharsan Educational Trust established by Sri V.K. Sundaram, an industrialist of repute with multifarious interests.

Sri V. K. Sundaram established the trust with the purpose of putting into action the dreams of their illustrious father, Bramhashri K. Vanchinatha Dikshithar of providing advanced learning in Arts & Science to the youth of Pudukkottai District.

The college strives hard to provide the wealth of learning to many who would otherwise never have had the opportunity to elevate their social status and that of their families.
