Subbarayalu College of Pharmacy (SCP), Coimbatore was established in 1982 with the prime objective of providing effective & efficient education in pharmacy.

The college is affiliated to Annamalai University.

The scope of pharmacy practice includes more traditional roles such as compounding and dispensing medications, and it also includes more modern services related to health care, including clinical services, reviewing medications for safety and efficacy, and providing drug information.

The college is managed by Chemist Education and Charitable Trust.

Subbarayalu College of Pharmacy is an oldest Pharmacy College in Tamil Nadu and first of its kind in Coimbatore district.

The college has been successful in providing and maintaining high quality in Teaching and Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

The college has their own spectacular buildings with spacious well equipped Sophisticated Laboratories, class rooms and other facilities as per the norms and standards of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
