St. Xavier Institute of Pharmacy (SXIP), Deenapur was established in 2008.

The academic values of the institute are consistent with the mission statement “Development of integrated manpower possessing pharmaceutical knowledge and skills, values and ethics needed to make an honourable living and contribute to the socio-economic development and welfare of the Society”.

The college is recognized by PCI and is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University.

The teaching staff will be appointed from the beginning on permanent basis of subject to the approval of Staff Selection Committee constituted by university.

The main objective of the college is offering Under Graduate in Pharmacy with a view to develop manpower, possessing knowledge and skills needed to man middle level positions in Pharmaceutical industry and health care organisations.

The knowledge and skills pertain to the following technical functions in pharmaceutical industry & commerce, research and development.
