St. Peter & Ghattamaneni Krishna (SPGK) College of Education, Guntur was established in 2002 and run by Mother Therisha Memorial Educational Society.

The college has a pleasant environment with academic atmosphere and well-equipped with all modern facilities. St.Peter & G.Krishna College of Education is one of the oldest colleges of Education in Kosta region.

The college is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

SPGK College is started with the motto of making ideal teachers. As a profession it is important to ensure that teaching has strong professional leadership that sets clear standards of entry, profession and professional accountability. Such professional leadership must be owned by the profession to improve qualify and status of the teaching work fore. Students here are admitted based on the Andhra Ed CET and counseling.
