St. John College of Education, East Godavari was established in 2007 It is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The college was started with main the objective of qualitative improvement of school education through innovative pre-service and in-service teacher training programs and relevant research, development and extension activities.

St. John's College of Education has established itself as an institute of repute in the area of school and teacher education. The institute has endeavored to shoulder the responsibilities and challenges generated by changes in the educational scenario of the country and the southern region.

The college offers one-year undergraduate level full time programme Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

Applicants, who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted based on the Andhra Ed CET and counseling.
