Srinivasa Ramanujan Centre (SRC), Kumbakonamwas established in 2000.

The aim of the SRC is to provide quality higher education to the people of Kumbakonam and nearby places and to offer degree programs and to coach +2 students for professional courses.

The academic curriculum for various programs is formulated by the respective boards of studies comprising experts from the academia, industries, senior faculty members of the department and other associated departments.

The formulation is done taking into consideration the recent trends in the industry, established standards, etc.

All degree programs at SRC has courses on ethics and personality development, which are in tune with the university's mission and goals of offering a value-based quality education turning out graduates with all rounded personality.

The curricula is revised every year, or as and when required based on the views of various experts who visit the university.
