About Srinivas College of Education
Srinivas College of Education, Mangaluru (Dist. Dakshina Kannada) was established in 2004 managed by A. Shama Rao Foundation.
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
The college is affiliated to Mangalore University, Mangaluru and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.
The college is recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bengaluru to offer B.Ed.
Srinivas College of Education is located in the Pandeshwar Campus of Srinivas Group of Colleges, is in the heart of the coastal city of Mangaluru well connected by all modes of transportation with just 1 km. from State Bank Bus Stand and ½ km from Railway Station.
The college imparts innovative and qualitative professional education to the aspiring teachers through modern, sophisticated techniques of teaching yet without losing the flavor of traditional teaching methodology.
The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.
Students here are admitted who completed their graduation in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the graduation level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
