Sri Venkateswara PG College (SVPG), Kadapa was established in 2001.

The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA) and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

SVPG is a new generation P.G. College established with the objective of nurturing a powerful resource base of Computer Application specialists and Managerial talent.

The college within a short span of time, has made rapid strides towards establishing reputed MBA and MCA programs, with wide acceptance from the industry and as an institution they committed to excellence in education.

SVDC was founded in 1981, based on the firm belief that education especially higher education provides a critical pathway to leadership development, economic progress, and social and political equality. Since its inception, the group has upheld a rigorous commitment to the curriculum and the programs that it offers.

We are proud to have highly qualified, competent and committed faculty, who are well known and respected among the teaching fraternity of S.V. University. Most of our faculty are M.Phil/Ph.D. holders with several published papers and presentations to their credit. They are supported by visiting and guest faculty drawn from reputed academia to bridge the deficiencies and strengthen academic climate conducive for learning, growth and development.

The college enjoys an unparalleled advantage owing to its location in industrially, and educationally fast growing Kadapa city of Andhra Pradesh, enabling it to provide perfect ambience for higher learning. The college is approved under section 2(f) and 12(B) of the University Grants Commission Act to enable it to receive grants for various development purposes.

The college offers 15 subject combinations with a student strength of 2000 at the U.G. level and 8 courses with a student strength of 750 at the P.G. level. The college is credited with numerous academic distinctions both in U.G.

and P.G. courses, and emerged as one of the best among the affiliated colleges in Rayalaseema region.
