Sri Venkateswara College of Education, Visakhapatnam was established in 1985 under the Sri Prakash Educational Society.

The college is affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), for offering one-year B Ed course.

This institution with the best infrastructure like a sophisticated Psychology Lab which provides scope for the development of mental ability and reasoning helps the student teachers to study the mental and physical behavior of their students individually. The hands-on experience in the computer lab makes them cyber –literate, imparting life skills in addition.

Students here are admitted based on the Andhra Ed CET and counseling.
