Sri Swamy Vivekananda College of Education, Visakhapatnam was established in 2004. It is affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The college was managed under of Sri Vivekananda Educational Welfare Society.

For offering two year diploma level course in the field of teacher education, the college is affiliated to State Council for Higher Education / Director of School Education Andhra Pradesh.

Shi Swamy Vivekananda College of Education provides all the basic facilities for students, in there campus.

Students here are admitted based on the Andhra Ed CET and counseling.

Various teaching and learning techniques are being used by the faculty to impart knowledge and skills to students at Sri Swamy Vivekananda College of Education, Visakhapatnam in its various departments.
