Sri Subabharathi Arts and Science College for Men, Pudukkottai was established in 2000.

It is founded by Sri Bharathi Educational Trust to uplift and develop the backward District of Pudukkottai.

The college, with the approval of the Tamil Nadu state Government accorded in the G.O Ms.226 dated 18.7.2005 got affiliated to the Bharathidasan University.

Initially a college with 5 U.G Courses, the college has developed with repute in the modern emerging fields of study.

The college is goaded with the noble thoughts of bringing higher education within the reach of the people who are in the low-rung of the society-mired in ignorance and wallowing in stunted village economy, the institution has been rendering education levying minimum fee only.
