Sri Shriniwas Sarawgi College, Katni was popularly known as SNS College, Katni was established in 1989 and managed by College Management Committee
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.
The college is affiliated with Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur.
The aim of the college was to solve basic education need and to arrange professional and technical programs for unemployed educated youth and also arrange career oriented courses for youth who are completing their basic schooling.
It is a co-educational self-financed Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the rural part of Katni played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The college also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of education, sports and curricular activities under Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur.
The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Arts and Commerce streams with various specializations and offers two years postgraduate courses in Master of Commerce under Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur.
University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur and various other examinations are held in the college premises.
