Sri Sarathi Institute of Engineering & Technology, Krishna was established in 1998.

Sri Sarathi Institute of Engineering and Technology (SSIET), is started in 1998 with a solemn objective of imparting quality education to young men and women whose mighty contribution is essential for the fulfillment of national and international demands in the field of Engineering and Technology. It is pioneer institute for introducing Engineering education in Nuzvid. The college is approved by AICTE, affiliated to JNTUK and ISO 9001-2008 certified. The institution has completed successful track record for a period of one and half a decade in teaching and learning process. The nearest railway station to the college is situated at Hunuman Junction.

Sri Sarathi Institute of Engineering and Technology (S.S.I.E.T) has established in 1998 and started functioning from 13-12-1998 at nuzvid, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, permitted by Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The college was started with an intake of 240 with four undergraduate courses. Now the intake of the college is 420 in five undergraduate courses and 60 in Postgraduate course. 
Its main objective is to help students learn to create value so that they can make a difference and want to inspire the students to achieve what they aim.
