Sri Ragavendra Teacher Training Institute, Sathyyamangalam was established in 2004.

The College is managed under Sri Ragavendra Education Trust.

The Trust has started Sri Ragavendra Matriculation School and got order from the Director of School Education in Chennai on 04-03-1997 and also got order from this said office to start State Board high school and gradually to grow into a higher Secondary School.

The Trust has got N.O.C from the State Government and Recognition from N.C.T.E, Bangalore in 2004 to start a Teacher Training Institute.

The same Trust has got N.O.C from the State Government to start B.Ed. College.

Trustees Aim to start B.Ed., College is to achieve high Ideals for future Teachers. The College is under self-financing scheme.
