Sri Padmavathi College of Engineering, Kancheepuram TN was established in 1999.

It is affiliated to Anna University.

• It is a unaided private self financing, co-educational institution approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and approved by the Government of Tamilnadu.
• College is managed by Sri. Pachiammal Educational Trust, which was founded in 1995.
• It is  a nonprofit educational organization.
• The main objective of the trust is to foster quality technical and higher education, research & training at rural areas in various branches of science & technology and simultaneously inculcate among youth a sense of discipline so that they can be molded into competent and talented engineers.
