Sri Harsha Institute of PG Studies, Pothireddypalem was established in 2009.

The college is affiliated to Vikram Simhapuri University, Nellore,  and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The college is managed under Sri Harsha educational society.

The Sriharsha educational society is established with the intention of promoting higher education in AP in the field of higher technical education and management.
