Sri Guru Ram Das Institute Of Medical Sciences & Research (SGRDIMSR), Sri Amritsar was started in 1997.
The first batch passed out in December, 2002.
The Institute is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.
The MBBS degree is duly recognized by the Medical Council of India and Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
The Institute is coming up fast at the Amritsar-Mehta Road with a sprawling new campus in about 65 acres of land. Presently, it is recognized for an intake of 50 students for the M.B.B.S. course annually.
The Institute has separate hostels for boys and girls with 200 seats each.
