Sri Gokulam College of Nursing (SGCN), Salem was established in 2001 by Sri Gokulam Trust, which is a Charitable Trust under Sri Gokulam Hospital.

Sri Gokulam College of Nursing is affiliated to Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai and recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

The college is approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi and Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai.

The college provides practical exposure to their students, which helps them in acquiring in depth knowledge in the field of nursing.
