Sri Bharathi Arts and Science College for Women (SBWASC), Pudukkottai was established in 1994. The college is approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu affiliated to Tiruvalluvar University, Vellore.

Sri Bharathi Women's Arts and Science College is a product of innovative imagination of Sri Jayalakshmi ammal Trust, in the field of education. Though it is just four years old the college has caused many academicians to raise their eyebrows in wonder at the rapid growth of the institution. The college has incorporated innovative and modern approaches in teaching and learning process. At the same time the college has the set a path of its own values cherished by traditions.

Our college situated at just 3km from Arni on the Arni - Vellore (Highway). The college has their extent of 24 acres of natural opulence land. The college is nested amidst lush green environs offering its students a first hand experience with nature thus providing a tranquil atmosphere for interactive learning. This institution aims to provide education particularly to rural women at international standards as the college boasts of some unique features.
