Sri Amman College of Education, Trichy was established in 2003. Its managed under Sri Amman Educational and Charitable Trust.

Sri Amman College of Education has been promoted with the sole aim of imparting technical and managerial skills of high caliber to the students through the latest teaching methods. Under the able and untiring guidance and patronage of Chairman and Managing Trustee, the college is endowed with excellent infrastructure and a dedicated team of faculty members to train students to meet the growing needs of the society.

The college is equipped with latest facilities and excellent infrastructures. The B.Ed., Course combines practical training in teaching with theoretical and practical methods of teaching. The duration of the course is one year. Opportunities for observation and practical teaching are provided through real practice in schools. The medium of instruction is English.

Our B.Ed College aims at imparting skills and knowledge necessary to turn out teachers, who would be scholars in the subjects, friends and guide to the students and above all inspiring role models. The training and interaction given here through our Multipurpose Hall, Well equipped Labs – Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Psychology and Educational Technology would enable teacher trainees to sharpen their intelligence, deepen the understanding of men and matters and develop a positive attitude towards life itself. Available seats are 100.
