Sree Ramu College of Arts & Science was established in 1996.

The college is managed by Shri. S. Ramasamy Reddiar. The college is affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and recognized by UGC, New Delhi.

Sree Ramu College of Arts & Science also known as "SREE RAMU CAS" or simply "SRC", is a college situated in the outskirts of Pollachi. The college is inaugurated by the year 1966 by Shri. S. Ramasamy Reddiar.It is a co-educational institution run by the RVS Trust. The institution is situated on Pollachi - Valparai main road at N.M. Sungam, 13 km away from Pollachi.

It aims to make the students as successful individuals and equip them to meet the challenges of the present information age.

The college is accredited by NAAC and an ISO 9001-2008 Certified institution. It offers seven UG courses, three PG courses, two research programs and certificate courses.
